Day Nineteen: Pompidou and Monsters

We started our morning with some iPad games:
And then strolled over to BHV, a massive department store that literally has everything, including adaptors:
 Fun dressing rooms:
Several large floors of women's clothing:
All told, there were 9 levels:

They even had a separate store for pet supplies:
Next it was off to the Pompidou:
This most annoying woman was singing incredibly shrill versions of Adele songs:
I had visions of John Belushi smashing the guitar in Animal House. It almost happened. Instead, I had a drink with lunch:

Next off to the Modern Art Museum:

 Audio tour:

A new take on Manet's Olympia:

 Darth Vader forgot something:
Adding our American touch of class:

 Some Warhol:
Amazing views of all of Paris from the balcony:

 Family portrait:

This is Kenny's view of a clingy Eliza:
 Some more touches of class:

 Leaving the Pompidou:
 Stopping off at Paris Plages:

Samantha loves her new backpack, courtesy of BHV:

We came home for a rest and a fun facetime session with Bubbie. Then we headed out to go see Monsters University in Odeon:
The girls loved it and it was a nice break to listen to some English for 90 minutes. After the movie, we decided to trick the girls into walking home by doing the carrot and stick routine, except with fruit salad:

They were in rare difficult form, so we gave in to them like proper American parents:
 My fed up face:
I agreed to take their faux dinner order on my hand menu if they promised to take a shower without complaining:
It worked.
