Day Twenty-Six: Playtime with Friends

Today we got to hang out with our friends from DC, the Karafotas family. Considering we've overdosed on l'attitude parisienne, it was a breath of fresh air to spend time with our fellow Americans. After the girls played for a bit at Luxembourg, we found a fantastic Italian restaurant:

Then we headed back to Luxembourg...

And enjoyed some sugar on a paper roll:

The girls couldn't wait to introduce the Karafotas girls to the carrousel stick game:

Watching Zoe with Simba proved to be the highlight of the ride:

I spent a bit of time showing Peter and Kate some good places to visit. We spent the rest of the time venting our frustrations with French people, including having some words with the man in plaid sitting behind Peter. He, like many of the French, do not understand the concept of personal space:

We definitely feel like we are in the winding down portion of the trip. It appears as though we've milked all the enjoyment possible out of Paris and are ready to return to our normal life in the States, where men do not run through the park wearing flippers and a Snow White costume:
