Day Twenty-One: Keeping the Ladies Happy

Today, my amazing husband made it all about the ladies. I got the day off and the girls got to visit the Jardin D'Acclimatation, an old-fashioned amusement park on the edge of Paris. Initially, I attempted to go shopping but either the newer clothing was too expensive or the stuff on sale was too ugly. So, I opted for a fabulous massage instead...

Meanwhile, in a land far, far away:

 Water park!

Samantha braved this one all on her own:

Eliza didn't fare so well on the bumper cars. Kenny thinks she looks like Michael Jackson in this one:

Keeping true to her schizophrenic form, she cheered up immediately for the next ride:

I have opted not to include the 600 photographs that Kenny took of their day. I think this picture says it all:
And of course, what goes better with amusement parks then:
As much as I love Paris, the heat is making the city pretty much unbearable. Fortunately, we leave for London tomorrow to spend a few days with our friends, Abi and Matthias. We look forward to seeing them, meeting their little ones, and escaping the heat. And of course, if the Duchess of Cambridge needs a lactation consultant in hospital, I may have to make it a working vacation.
